Technical Account Manager (Post-Sales) Multiple Locations

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and managing the post sales process with direct and channel customers. The TAM must be able to articulate the company's technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical and business issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

  • Knowledge in variety of Federal Regulatory Compliance issues a plus: HIPAA, GLBA, Sarbanes Oxley SOX, etc

Technical Trainer Anywhere in USA

The Technical trainer will be focused on ensuring the delivery of world class training class at Qualys. As a member of the support organization, the technical trainer will work with cross-functional teams to understand the technical aspects of our product and deliver product training for all product lines. As needed, the trainer will use classroom feedback to enhance current courseware.

Qualifications

  • 5 years in Network or Application security (Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Intrusion Prevention, Vulnerability Management, OS Configuration)
  • Well versed in Policy Compliance and Industry standard frameworks: ISO , CobIT, CIS
  • 2+ years in the training industry including: Courseware development, Webex training preparation, Classroom training
  • History of proven overachievement
  • Technically proficient and confident
  • High energy-level exercised with strong business judgment
  • Very comfortable and articulate delivering training materials in a classroom environment

Technical Account Manager UK

Responsibilities

The TAM EMEA SMB is in charge of managing the relationship with QualysGuard Express SMB customers and the primary responsibility is to take care of the overall success of Qualys’ rapidly growing installed base. The Post-Sales Technical Account Manager works proactively to insure QualysGuard Express customers are successfully using and leveraging the product. The EMEA Manager of TAM Renewals will connect on a regular basis to our existing customers and perform technical check ups. He or she may perform site visits and/or also webinars to guide and inform customers in the successful use of QualysGuard within their respective organizations. The EMEA Manager of TAM Renewals may also serve as the first point of contact for Express customers and help direct inquiries to the right resources within Qualys such as support, pre-sales or management. The EMEA Manager of TAM Renewals is also responsible for answering customer inquiries and highlighting value, and benefits from a technical perspective. The EMEA Manager of TAM Renewals will be responsible for gathering customer feedback, details, and use cases and delivering that to the internal organization as data points to drive product and company direction. Success of this role will be measured by the activity rate of Express customers, the annual renewal rate of Express customers, and the overall satisfaction of Express customers.

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will come from a security and/or networking background while performing an engineering, administration or support role. Candidates from the following backgrounds may be a fit: Post Sales Consultants, Technical Pre-Sales Engineers, Consulting and Professional Services profiles, Technical Support Engineers, Engineering or Technical Customer Service oriented profiles
  • General knowledge of current IT security fields including Firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems IDS, Intrusion Prevention Systems IPS, Vulnerability Management, Network Scanners (Nessus, nmap, Cybercop, ISS Internet Scanner), PCI, Policy Compliance and Audit Tools, other enterprise security solutions
